Intern Rotation-2024 Digital Services Centre Of Excellence

A Day in the Life Your internship at Medtronic's Digital Technologies unit in London will involve a four-month rotation through our 4 specialist areas, those being Mobile, Web, Test and Platform. Working as a cohort with other interns to deliver actual product improvements in a dynamic cross functional team.

You will have a dedicated mentor and training to support this process. At the end of the 4 month rotation you will be selected by one of the specialties where you will continue to learn and develop for the remainder of the internship.
This intern rotation will be based in the Medtronic London office in City Road and has an expectation of being on-site for at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• You will work on a product engineering team
• You will learn across four different specialist areas as part of an intern cohort
• You will be participating in all aspects of the team’s activity and developing an understanding of the different roles available to you in this industry
• You will be directly contributing to the code base for one of our product lines
• You will work on a solo project that you will present to the team at the end of your initial four month rotation

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Problem solving abilities
• Either enrolled in a computer science or related degree study or have completed a relevant programming bootcamp
• Knowledge of a programming language – Python or JavaScript
• Fluency in English
