Jewelry Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Jewelry Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting and purchasing jewelry. Your expertise in product knowledge and sales techniques will help create a memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of various jewelry items.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer’s purchase experience while increasing sales.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring that displays are well-organized and fully stocked at all times.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system and cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Perform basic math calculations related to retail transactions and inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels, customer feedback, and sales performance.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and inviting store environment that reflects the brand's image.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred, particularly in a jewelry or luxury goods environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
• Ability to operate a cash register and POS system efficiently.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for jewelry is highly desirable.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
