Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to grow within the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Cook menu items with attention to quality, consistency, and timely delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
• Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service

Experience

• Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and meal preparation processes
• Experience working in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills
