Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and tracking shipments to ensure timely, accurate, and cost‑effective delivery. This role works closely with drivers, carriers, operations, and customers to keep freight moving smoothly while maintaining clear communication and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation and delivery schedules
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams regarding load details and timelines
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Prepare and verify shipping documents (BOLs, delivery confirmations, load details)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
• Update tracking systems and maintain accurate logistics records
• Support operational planning and load optimization
• Provide customer updates and respond to logistics inquiries

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination preferred
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable using logistics software, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools
• Knowledge of trucking or freight operations (flatbed experience an asset)
