We are Fellowship Square Tucson, a not-for-profit senior living community seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Christian Care Family. We are looking for a responsible, professional individual who wants to provide superior customer service experience to our residents rather than doing "just a job."
This is a full-time position and is responsible for managing the Maintenance Department and staff, ensuring routine maintenance and repair of the facilities and equipment. Experience in all aspects of maintenance is required including managing staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Organize and oversee the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
- Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include apartment turnovers, plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
- Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
- Maintain general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.
- Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
- Will be responsible for covering shifts and emergency on-call weekends/holidays as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor required with experience in commercial and/or residential property.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to acquire a fingerprint clearance card from the State of AZ within the first month of employment.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work well alone or in a team environment.
- Must be available to work varying shifts as needed.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.
- Must be a team player.
