Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

Job Description:

We offer cutting-edge services including hormone optimization therapy and recovery therapy services tailored to each person's unique needs. Our team of experienced healthcare professionals is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that puts our clients' health and well-being first. We are interviewing full-time/part-time on-site roles for a Medical Assistant. The MA role will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks, including assisting clinicians with patient care, managing medical records and documentation, supporting daily office operations, and communicating effectively with patients, team members, and other medical professionals.

Qualifications

  • Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology skills
  • Experience working in a medical office environment
  • Patient Care skills, including phlebotomy
  • Experience managing medical records and documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, team members, and other medical professionals
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required

Other Job Duties May Include but are Not Limited To:

  • Greet and communicate with clients
  • Keep office in order
  • Answer customers' questions and address concerns
  • Answer incoming calls and redirect them, or take messages
  • Check, sort, and forward emails
  • Phlebotomy duties for clients
  • Educate clients on Optimal Recovery Modalities
  • Assist clients with utilizing Recovery Modalities
  • Educate clients on various injection therapies
  • Charting in EMR
  • Appointment Scheduling

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

  • Ocala, FL 34476: Relocate before starting work (Required)
