Nail Artist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to create beautiful results for clients in a professional and welcoming environment. The Nail Technician will also promote retail products and upsell services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.

Duties

• Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
• Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and safety
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and retail products
• Upsell additional services and retail items to enhance client experience and increase sales
• Deliver excellent customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and building rapport with clients
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient service delivery
• Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and sanitation practices through ongoing education

Qualifications

• Valid state licensing or certification as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialty credentials
• Proven experience in providing professional nail care services in a salon or spa setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for hygiene and safety
• Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not required
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Retail sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
