Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in both residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for delivering high-quality work, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a flawless finish that meets our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the project.
• Perform drywall repairs and caulking as necessary to ensure a smooth finish.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
• Restore surfaces to their original condition when required, ensuring high-quality results.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals on larger projects as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in residential painting techniques and methods.
• Experience with commercial painting projects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of drywall installation and repair techniques.
• Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships.
• Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints.
• Competence in using various power tools safely in a construction environment.
• Attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics to ensure high-quality finishes.
