***Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm until 9:00am following morning***

Job Summary
Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. This energetic position involves providing personalized support to residents in various care settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will be a key advocate for independence and dignity, delivering attentive care that makes a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and document residents’ health status, vital signs, and behavioral changes to support care plans
• Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and facility protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident spaces
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to ensure safe mobility assistance
• Observe residents for signs of health issues or changes in condition, including dementia or Alzheimer's symptoms, and report findings promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or disability care
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
• Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and behavioral cues
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs
• Competency in medication administration and care plan implementation
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and families
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and assisting with resident transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
