Purchasing Officer

Job description

We are opening a branch in Philippines with ambitions to expand in the coming years. We are recruiting the pioneer team, and we are searching for Rockstars who are eager for growth and professional opportunities. As we expand and develop, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchasing Officer to join us on a consulting basis.

Responsibilities:

• Research potential vendors based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing to obtains the best possible deals.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• Perform Ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Purchasing Officer for 2 years plus.
• Knowledge of sourcing and purchasing techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data
• BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Office Applications
• Working knowledge using Oracle NetSuite (a plus) as an ERP software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Late shift
