The Apple Retail Customer Care team is seeking a hardworking, highly technical Project Manager to join our global customer communications team. In this role, you will use the right mix of technical and project management skills to successfully deliver complex, cross-functional customer communication projects in Apple’s fast-paced environment. Description
The RCC Outreach Technical Project Manager will will be a key player on a highly collaborative, globally distributed team. You will lead the charge on executing direct-to-customer communications, traversing an array of project and program management skill sets.

Navigate rapid development cycles and an environment of ambiguity, making sound decisions for your teams even when information is incomplete.
Act as the bridge between business partners and engineering teams, translating business requirements into technical realities, and ensuring our transactional communications infrastructure scales flawlessly to support Retail customers worldwide.","responsibilities":"Lead the cross-functional development of program scope, deliverables, timelines, and execution. Traverse the full project lifecycle including business analytics, process mapping, requirement documentation, solution architecture, testing, change management, and project retrospectives.
Perform daily and urgent customer communications for a variety of programs and processes supporting Retail customers, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and promotional periods.
Analyze and manipulate data from disparate sources to ensure highly accurate information is delivered to the customer, maintaining an excellent and seamless customer experience.
Work with business partners to define scope, gather requirements, and ensure their expectations are met and managed. Provide technical guidance to senior business leaders.
Prepare presentations and demonstrate technical functionality illustrating project roadmaps, objectives, and charters. Coordinate program reviews, communicating project status and top engineering issues to the project team and leadership.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities with measurable objectives for both business groups and engineering teams, while meticulously monitoring and reporting on progress and results.

Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of technologies and skills used by engineering teams, including back-end JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
Fundamental understanding of databases (RDBMS and NoSQL) as well as CI/CD pipelines and strategies.
Advanced knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
Experience working within or collaborating with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones.
BA/BS computer-related degree preferred, or a combination of relevant work experience and
Certified PMP or Scrum Master is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications
Proven track record in technical project or program management, with detailed knowledge of product development processes.
Superior communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to filter and distill relevant information to the right audience.
Skilled in navigating environments of ambiguity and uncertainty; remains flexible and calm during rapid development cycles and can set direction even when data is missing or incomplete.
Self-motivated and proactive, with proven creative and critical thinking skills and a habit of consistently challenging the status quo to propose new solutions.
Detailed project tracking abilities and a strong track record of meeting deliverables on time.
Ability to work outside of typical business hours and flexibility to travel per business needs.
