Regional Sales Manager - A&D (Sea)

The opportunity arises for VIAVI to hire an Regional Sales Manager in Singapore, focusing on Aerospace and Defense accounts in Southeast Asia region. This is an individual contributor and sales quota-carrying role. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence through direct customer engagement and effective channel partner management.

• Drive sales and business development of VIAVI Aerospace & Defense product portfolio, including Avionics, Radio Test, PNT and Inertial Labs solutions across Southeast Asia.
• Support and enable Channel Partners to achieve/exceed the business goals and sales quota in the assigned territory
• Identify and develop new opportunities in the Military, Utilities, Transportation and Enterprise sectors.
• Conduct market analysis to track opportunities, competitor activities and regional market dynamics.
• Develop and execute sales programs directly in cooperation with BU’s
• Build and manage an effective channel ecosystem to appropriate cover the assigned products to meet and exceed company sales objectives
• Maintain accurate sales forest using CRM tools (Salesforce.com or Dynamics).
• Attend tradeshows and host seminars to promote VIAVI Solutions

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or communications/Avionics -related technical training and experience is preferred
• At least 6 ~ 8 years of experience in Communications Test & Measurements instruments
• Strong understanding in multiple of the following domains: Avionics, Mobile Radio Test and PNT.
• Highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong sales and business development skills
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate with colleagues on cross-territory accounts, such as strategic and key accounts
• Experience with developing and managing distribution partners in Southeast Asia
• Use of CRM systems (such as Salesforce.com or Dynamics) experience preferred
