This is a unique opportunity to develop the overall business in packaging, commercial print, ink and dealer market segments to ensure sales and financial targets are met.
The West region includes the following states: CA, UT, AZ, NV and will require 40-60% travel within the assigned territory.
In your main role at X-Rite, you will:
Achieve annual sales targets for the West Region by executing strategic sales plans to drive year-over-year growth.
Identify and engage prospective customers, assess their needs and workflows, and deliver tailored X-Rite solutions.
Execute solution-based selling across all market segments and the full product portfolio.
Manage sales activities in Salesforce and related tools, including lead follow-up, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and account planning.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and bids, and negotiate and close deals under optimal commercial terms.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and supporting order fulfillment as needed.
Your education and background experience will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (preferred)
- Eight+ years of related sales experience in the printing consumables, ink, printing plates, or color management related markets.
- Must have a strong understanding of color management process, tools and software.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of workflow sales, value sales, ROI based selling, and creation of solution proposals.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $95000 - $105000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
