The role is a growth-driven, and highly experienced Regional Head – APAC to lead MoneyGram’s strategy, growth, and commercial execution across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for the region’s P&L, business development, regulatory strategy, and strategic partnerships.
This individual will represent MoneyGram at high-profile conferences, regulatory forums, and industry events, while also building and strengthening partnerships with telecoms, digital wallets, social platforms, banks, and regulators across key markets.
What you will get to do
- Define and execute the APAC regional growth strategy in alignment with global business priorities, driving top-line growth and sustainable profitability.
- Own and manage the regional P&L, set and monitor budgets, and ensure optimal resource allocation to achieve commercial objectives.
- Identify, secure, and scale partnerships with key players including digital platforms, fintechs, telecom operators, and financial institutions across the region.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Product, and Operations to deliver a seamless customer and partner experience.
- Analyze market trends, partner performance, and customer insights to optimize decision-making and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Develop localized go-to-market plans, pitches, and propositions that resonate with partners and end-users.
- Foster a sales-driven culture across the team, ensuring alignment with KPIs, revenue targets, margins, and market share growth.
Who you are
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital payments, remittances, financial services, or social/digital platforms, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability across multiple markets.
