Overview

We are seeking an organized, reliable, team player to take on a multifaceted position covering Shipper/Receiver duties, Service Coordination as well as manage some general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse environment.

A successful candidate will enjoy working with other people but can also work alone. They can stay on top of projects and are comfortable working both at a desk as well as on their feet. This position requires regular lifting of boxes up to 50lbs.

Duties

- This position requires approximately 70% of the time using a computer and 30% of the time handling product

- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders

- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labelling packages appropriately

- Arranging shipping with different courier companies

- Operate walk behind forklift, and pump truck to move materials within the warehouse

- Maintain organized inventory storage and assist in order picking on a daily basis

- Collaborate with purchasing and sales team to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing

- Process equipment returns / repair requests for clients when required

Skills

- Experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving

- Proficiency with computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook) is a must

- Proficiency in order picking and inventory management

- Ability to operate basic forklifts, pump truck equipment safely and wisely

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work with both other staff as well as suppliers and couriers

- Reliable, trustworthy, efficient and accurate

- General common sense

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.45-$23.83 per hour
