Job Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Specialist who can craft compelling content, manage our online presence, and drive meaningful engagement across our digital platforms. This role requires a sharp storyteller who is skilled in copywriting and article writing, with a strong understanding of social media trends and audience behavior. You will help elevate our brand’s voice and connect with both Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and residential audiences in the renewable energy space.
Job Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy tailored to each platform and audience type.
- Collaborate with the content and design team to ensure timely publishing of visual and written content.
Community Engagement
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a professional and timely manner.
- Foster a positive and active online community by initiating conversations, replying to feedback, and engaging with industry-relevant content.
- Identify and engage with influencers, industry leaders, and partner accounts to build brand presence and trust.
Copywriting & Content Writing
- Craft high-quality short-form content for daily posts, promotions, and campaign messaging.
- Write long-form content such as articles, blog posts, or educational content relevant to solar energy, sustainability, and commercial solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with company objectives.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track and report on content performance, including engagement rates, follower growth, reach, and trends.
- Use insights to refine social media strategy, improve post effectiveness, and enhance overall content quality.
- Stay updated with platform algorithm changes, social media best practices, and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing brand social media accounts.
- Strong copywriting and content writing skills with a keen eye for tone, clarity, and audience engagement.
- Experience developing content strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Familiarity with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar).
- Passion for sustainability, clean energy, or climate solutions is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing blog posts, newsletters, or web articles for technical or environmental brands.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social content.
- Ability to analyze and interpret social metrics and content performance.
