Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. This role is essential in supporting the company’s financial operations and contributing to accurate financial reporting.

Work setup: Onsite in Makati or Cebu / WFH

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

Job Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of accounting experience required.
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwares (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php65,000.00 per month
