Job Description Summary

Responsible for daily requisition of raw materials and other consumable items, movement of parts within the department and preparation of finished parts for transfer.

Job Description

1.1. Perform daily request, receipt and issue of raw materials based on production schedule e.g., ink, cartons, top/bottom web, needles, cannula, labels, etc.

1.2. Transfer identified scrap parts from production area to the designated area in the warehouse.

1.3. Prepare and transfer of finished parts warehouse.

1.4. Handle movement of parts in production floor and ensure constant supply of component parts to machines.

1.5. Preparation of silicon or silicon intermediates for the assembly machines.

1.6. Check and ensure that correct and approved raw materials are issued to the individual production lines or machines upon receipt.

1.7. Check physical versus system quantity at the end of the production lot end before PMS sign off is done.

1.8. Participate in the discussion and review of team's performance in the daily shift changeover meeting.

1.9. Perform inventory cycle count based on schedule. Investigate variance and report. Perform system final post upon approval.

1.10. Clear system negative balances, component lot number overlap at Macpac.

1.11. Handling the label control, which include usage monitoring, scrap handling, return to warehouse and updating the label control sheet in the lot master file.

1.12. Return excess raw material from completed production runs to warehouse or relevant departments.

1.13. Check safety stock level on assigned items/spare parts and raise purchase requisition for re-order if necessary.

1.14. Participate in the monthly team meetings which include discussions and review of performance e.g., stoppages, quality, output, etc.

1.15. Participate in projects undertaken by the team e.g., data collection on stoppages, quality, etc.

1.16. Safety and ISO14001 Environmental accountability. Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement, and reduction of resource materials.

1.17. Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.

1.18. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
