Summary

Job Functions

This position is mainly concerned with customer service along with planning, organizing, and maintaining the storage facilities in good order. The incumbent ensures that all associated documentation is accurate and that products received or shipped are as ordered.

Using the POS program to invoice customer and use for other functions important for inventory, pricing and record keeping. Maintains a proper level of goods on hand and will usually be directly involved in preparing orders; this may be done in conjunction with the department management team.

Ensures that proper vouchers are completed for all incoming goods and that invoices are matched against goods.

Verifies the correctness of receipts against bills of lading or other records, checks for storages and identifies damaged goods.

Receives requisitions, processes paperwork, marks merchandise for shipping, packs merchandise into containers as required and routes merchandise to proper locations.

Ensures that all outgoing materials and products have been properly and accurately invoices. Both incoming and outgoing products and materials much be checked to ensure proper quantity and quality.

Be familiar with the operation of equipment in moving goods within the storage facility, also cleans and maintains all equipment used in receiving and shipping, keeping the facility clean and always organized.

Operates assigned vehicle to transport feed, fertilizer, or other products.

Maintains current legislated and company required licenses.

Loads and unloaded goods, maintains good relations with customers.

• Secondary School Graduate
• Valid DZ license will be a priority for this position
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs asnecessary
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform duties ina professional and courteous manner
• Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
• Critical thinking and ability to offer creative solutions
• Ability to work at minimum 40 hours per week with some Saturdays and seasonal overtime as necessary

Working Conditions

Usually requires a fair amount of physical activity including climbing, lifting, carrying, inspecting equipment etc. in an environment that can be dusty and without air conditioning
