Warehouse Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and possess a strong mechanical knowledge to effectively operate various equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload materials.
• Perform order picking and packaging tasks to prepare products for shipment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory and manage orders efficiently.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accurately logged and stored.
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required, handling materials up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, including order picking and packaging techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, or reach trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.25-$19.00 per hour
