Warehouse Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This position involves supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy machinery, and a strong work ethic to ensure efficient and safe warehouse functions.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
• Perform order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and maintaining inventory records using systems like AS400 or other warehouse management systems.
• Assist with construction or manufacturing-related tasks as needed, supporting overall warehouse operations.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or containers, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Support inventory management through accurate stock counting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Proficiency with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar inventory software.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods.
• Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload procedures.
• Warehouse experience involving order picking, inventory control, and warehouse management system operation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Pay: $17.20-$22.03 per hour
