Warehouse Manager

MicksGarage.com is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Warehouse & Operations Manager to lead our brand-new headquarters in Swinford. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a "lead-by-example" attitude, we want you on our team.

The Core Mission

Your primary focus will be the smooth running of a busy warehouse floor. You will be the driving force behind our daily operations, ensuring that people, processes, and stock are moving with maximum efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, recruit, and motivate a high-performing operations team. You’ll manage rotas, performance, and training, ensuring clear accountability across the floor.
• Warehouse Management: Take full ownership of the warehouse floor. This includes overseeing daily dispatch targets, quality control, and managing 3rd party logistics providers.
• Inventory & Inbound: Ensure timely processing of incoming stock, resolve discrepancies quickly, and lead regular stock counts and reporting.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. You’ll drive a "zero-tolerance" culture regarding safety and housekeeping to keep the site in top-tier condition.
• Problem Solving: Act as the sole point of contact for the operation, resolving issues as they arise in real-time.

What We’re Looking For

• Warehouse Management Experience: Proven track record of managing site operations, ideally within a high-volume eCommerce or logistics environment.
• Proven Leadership: Extensive experience running teams and managing staff performance. You should be a strong communicator who knows how to get the best out of people.
• Hands-on Approach: We need a manager who isn't afraid to be on the floor, solving problems and driving the team forward.
• Organized & Analytical: Strong time-management skills and the ability to handle reporting and inventory systems with precision.
