Welcome to a high-impact MBA Summer Internship within Roche's Product Development Quality (PDQ) organization. We are the global center of excellence ensuring unwavering commitment to data integrity, process agility, and transparency across all product development stages.
This intensive 2 or 3 month program invites future business leaders to solve complex quality challenges. You will be empowered to shape and deliver business-critical projects focused on optimizing strategic delivery, enhancing efficiency, and driving productivity across our global landscape. This is your chance to apply your top-tier MBA skillset to make a direct and meaningful impact on our portfolio and safeguard patients worldwide. The internship is located in Basel, starting between May/July 2026.
Lead large-scale strategic delivery projects in an international, multicultural matrix environment.
Apply systems-thinking to streamline complex processes and accelerate quality outcomes.
Design and develop methodologies for data analytics, transforming quality data into actionable business insights.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and implementation of Roche’s Future Quality Management System (QMS).
Drive innovation by identifying, controlling, and enhancing core business processes to ensure patient safety and data integrity.
Advance strategic portfolio management, knowledge management, and organizational quality skills.
Gain ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects with a direct bearing on our portfolio.
Currently doing an MBA (or finished it within 12 months before the start of the internship and ideally have previous experience working in Consulting (minimum 2-3 years)
Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects and facilitating decision-making.
A powerful blend of strategic thinking and analytical rigor.
Strong digital and data literacy, with the ability to apply analytical insights.
Proven stakeholder engagement, influencing, and negotiation skills.
An innovative, data-driven mindset focused on business value and results.
Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industry is an advantage.
Concise, timely, and fluent communication with Stakeholders (fluent English)
Location: Basel
Duration: Intensive 2-3 months, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Start Date: between May and July 2026

This internship is not suitable for a Master's thesis.
Due to regulations, non-EU/non-EFTA citizens without either a B permit with work permit or a C permit need to provide a certificate of enrollment in the MBA, as well as a certificate from the university stating that an internship is a mandatory part of the MBA curriculum and stating the length.
