360 Excavator Operator

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our team on a civil engineering project in North Kerry.

Responsibilities:

Operate 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.

Follow all site-specific safety procedures and comply with the company’s Health & Safety policy.

Conduct daily checks and routine maintenance of machinery to ensure safe operation.

Wear appropriate PPE at all times including helmets, safety boots, goggles, and high-vis clothing.

Ensure equipment is used correctly and only for its intended purpose.

Report any faults or issues with machinery immediately to site management.

Assist with general site groundworks when not operating machinery.

Identify and mitigate hazards on-site where possible (e.g., securing loose materials or equipment).

Communicate effectively with other workers, supervisors, and contractors on-site.

Refrain from unsafe practices or any form of horseplay that could jeopardize safety.

Report any injuries, near misses, or safety concerns to the foreman or safety officer.

Suggest and promote safer working practices where appropriate.

Requirements:

Must be over 18 years of age.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating 360 excavators on construction or civil projects.

Right to work in Ireland is essential.

Valid Full Irish Driver’s Licence.

Current CSCS 360 Excavator Ticket.

Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate.

Strong awareness of health and safety practices in a construction environment.

Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly on-site.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €18.89-€22.02 per hour
