  • Change initiative/ project delivery and delivery methodology
    • Manages multiple, interdependent projects or workstreams; high/complex degree of inter-dependency across projects
    • Demonstrates versatility to independently manage projects/programs of different types and levels of complexity
    • Can independently develop initiative governance structures; with limited support from Senior Manager develops agendas and facilitates meaningful discussion for projects he/she is leading
    • Executes initiatives via enhanced practice-area methodologies with Senior Manager support
    • Demonstrates thought leadership in developing and introducing different ways of approaching delivery
  • Project/team leadership
    • Is able to see ahead and balance short-term solutions versus long-term strategic solutions
    • Provides insight into resolution of complex situations which require a judgment call to get to the best decision
    • With limited Senior Manager guidance, is a role model for the team at keeping calm, cool, and collected in highly stressful situations and tight deadlines. Provides support to teams during times of stress and knows when to shield the team from unnecessary noise
    • Can pivot in the moment to prepare and communicate topics that require alignment; in particular where disagreement exists
    • With limited Senior Manager guidance, can identify and manage project teams through ambiguity by defining the appropriate path or framework
    • Develops and supports other associates through their project work; may have peers, Senior Analyst and/or Analysts supporting a program.
  • Change management
    • Build and execute a change management strategy and plan as part of the delivery of an effort. Work with the Senior Manager if additional change management expertise is required for the effort.
    • Leverages expertise from the Change Management practice for highly impactful change efforts
    • Demonstrates ability to build proficiency with applying and executing innovative change management techniques. With support from Change Management practitioners, can develop an approach on which techniques to best apply for specific initiatives.
    • Effectively able to develop and execute upon communication/content development strategy to effectively engage and inform stakeholder groups. Able to identify appropriate and most connective communication channels to engage the appropriate audience groups.
  • Influence and stakeholder management
    • Develops and executes approaches to identify, define and work with stakeholders
    • Actively manages and, when required, renegotiates expectations for programs/projects with stakeholders (engages with directors or below, may engage with Management Committee members with support)
    • Viewed as the "go-to" person for ECO on the program or project due to relationships built with stakeholders
    • Engage with senior stakeholders and work through disparate opinions to build a collaborative delivery approach
    • Demonstrate ability to coalesce a wide range of differing opinions (e.g., related to a solution, project issue or risk, etc.) and get to an answer from which the initiative can proceed at Senior Manager+ level
  • Resource and value management
    • Seeks creative out-of-the box solutions to solve problems that can deliver maximum value to business, not being constrained to current ways of doing things
    • Assesses initiative/program needs and knows what cross-CG resources to engage; leverages relationships across CG to ensure to confirm prioritization and resource availability.
    • Can independently facilitate the development and measurement of the "value/benefit proposition" of the work with tie backs to CG and business unit strategies
  • Domain knowledge
    • Demonstrates strong domain knowledge in his/her primary practice area
    • Recognizes potential opportunities to engage ECO practices and works directly with the Practice Leads and SM to determine how to engage the practices and gain support by the project sponsors.
  • Business knowledge
    • Demonstrates strong business knowledge within a business unit (i.e.., NACG)
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • You’ve had 8-10 years of project/program management experience.
  • Experience working in the asset management industry and/or familiarity with a wide variety of investment products and vehicles would be strongly preferred for this role.
  • You are a manager who engages and inspires others to achieve meaningful results.
  • You’ve led high performing teams and have the confidence and courage to add value.
  • You’ve had previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, operating models, process improvement, change management, etc.), and have the ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work.
  • When developing a plan, you consider long term impacts and make a personal commitment to exploring diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints.
  • You thrive on challenges and enjoy partnering with others to achieve meaningful results.
  • You’ve partnered cross-functionally to solve complex problems and have the confidence and courage to add value.
  • You are a skilled communicator. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging. You’ve fine-tuned your communication style to influence a variety of personalities.
  • You will be able to manage a project team incorporating Capital’s culture that will work with multiple different offices across Europe, Asia and the United States.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
