Accounting And Finance Internship (Min 3 Months)

About the Role:
As an Accounting and Finance Intern in REAPRA, you would play an integral part in the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role will allow you to grow deep appreciation in the accounting and finance field while developing versatility, honing problem solving skills and managing ambiguity and fluidity present in the startup environment and the ever-changing market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership in day-to-day financial operations such as processing of payments, posting journal entries and performing reconciliations as part of monthly closing activities
• Assist with preparation of management accounts, reports and balance sheet schedules
• Support audit, tax and other regulatory requirements by liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information required
• Analyse financial records for accuracy and completeness
• Help improve accounting processes and workflow efficiency
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Provide general ad-hoc and administrative support where required

Requirements:

• Completed Diploma in Accounting or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or recognised Professional Certification in the subject
• Sound understanding of accounting principles
• Open minded and willingness to learn and take on tasks as assigned
• Attention to detail and an inquiring mind
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
