Position Summary:

Overseeing employee salary and benefits, analysing and preparing journal entries and keeping complete payroll and other related files.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides accurate and timely computation of Final Pay.
  • Updates Tracker for Resigned employees.
  • Computes SSS maternity and sickness reimbursements.
  • Monitors resigned trainees.
  • Keeps complete and organized Final Pay files like Quitclaim, Clearance and other supporting documents.
  • Ensures on-time statutory remittance both loans and premium.
  • Releasing Final Paychecks.
  • Monitoring of stale final paychecks.
  • Receives Purchase Requests.
  • Does Supplier canvassing and gathers quotations.
  • Collates Supplier Information and standard requirements.
  • Prepares Purchase Orders.
  • Follow up and receive deliveries.
  • Inventory counting for maintenance Suppliers.
  • Asset Tagging and monitoring.
  • Physical Counting of Fixed Assets.
  • Prepare Payment Request Form for suppliers that need down payment.
  • Monitors Accountability for sim cards, cellphones, webcams, pedestals, etc.
  • Handles Asset Disposals.
  • Complies with applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Assists in creating and implementing policies and procedures to identify and resolve control issues related to payroll and other benefit payments.
  • Attends continuing education seminars/ training to keep abreast with developments in labor standards.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in payroll processing and accounting in a Philippine setting.
  • Knowledgeable about statutory remittances.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience in the BPO industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Strong GL accounting and reconciliation background.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
  • Communication and vendor relationship skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
