Accounting Intern | Urgent!

• Voucher Preparation: Assist in preparing Journal, Disbursement, and Petty Cash vouchers. This includes ensuring that all "supporting documents" (ORs, Sales Invoices) are attached and valid.
• Data Entry: Encode financial transactions into the company’s accounting software or maintain manual books of accounts.
• Tax Compliance Support: Help in the preparation of monthly BIR forms (such as 1601-E, 2550M, or 2551Q).
• Withholding Tax certificates (Form 2307) are issued to suppliers.
• Bank Reconciliation: Assist in comparing the company's bank statements against internal cash records to identify discrepancies.
• Filing and Documentation: Organize and archive physical and digital financial records. In the Philippines, maintaining a "clean" audit trail is critical for annual external audits and BIR examinations.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable Support: Monitor Statement of Accounts (SOA) from suppliers or help follow up on outstanding receivables from clients.
• Audit Preparation: Assist the accounting team in gathering schedules and documents requested by external auditors during the "Audit Season."

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (BSA) or Accounting Information Systems (BSAIS).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge (formulas like SUM, IF, and basic data sorting).
• Ability to spot numerical errors or missing information on official receipts.
• Since the role involves handling sensitive financial data, a high level of honesty and confidentiality is required.
