Job brief: As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll work within our organization’s Finance department. The role involves assisting accounting officials/senior management in the reporting and management of the company’s finances.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee & ensure timely preparation of Month End Close.
Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation
Store Cash Reconciliation
Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
VAT Return
debtors and creditors and monthly reconciliation of same
inputting of the raw data for above
PAYE Returns
payroll
Prepare accounting information & relevant reports as required
Answer phone calls and pass through to relevant department
Ad hoc admin duties as they arise to keep all administration for the team up to date.
General Office Administration and Reception.
Candidates should have 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with excellent PC skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Extensive skills in Excel, Sage 50 accounts and sage payroll Relate MS Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to meet deadlines
- knowledge of Irish tax system.
