Accounts Officer / Office & Accounts Administrator

Green Zone Limited is a growing Auckland-based service company providing handyman services, lawn care, CCTV & data cabling solutions. Our work involves daily job bookings, invoicing, GST compliance, payroll processing and supplier management. To support continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Accounts & Office Administrator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and manage customer invoices and job billing
  • Maintain financial records using Xero or similar accounting software
  • Process GST information, bank reconciliations and expense tracking
  • Manage payroll, staff timesheets and contractor payments
  • Handle supplier invoices and account reconciliations
  • Maintain client records, job documentation and compliance files
  • Answer emails, coordinate job bookings and customer communication
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting and business summaries
  • Support director with administrative, compliance and reporting needs

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Administration
  • 2+ years proven experience in accounts or office administration
  • Strong experience with Xero, payroll systems & GST reporting
  • Knowledge of New Zealand accounting & compliance standards
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/home-based environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
