HUGO BOSS Australia is seeking an Accounts Payable and Purchasing Administrator to join the Finance team at our Support Office in Melbourne. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this opportunity plays an integral role as a link between retail stores and the support office finance team. It is an ideal opportunity to start a career in finance particularly for a retailer who is interested in numbers. A truly varied role which requires effective communication skills, an inquisitive nature and a love of numbers and data.


Please note, this position is a Part Time opportunity on a Fixed Term basis across 12 months.


This is a unique and varied role with the two areas of accountability being:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Purchasing

What you can expect:

  • End-to-end processing of invoices into SAP system
  • Posting of journals & generating reports.
  • Corporate Credit Card reconciliation
  • Assisting with month end and year end processes
  • Resolving invoice issues & responding to Vendor queries
  • Verifying and setting up invoices for payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain Vendor Masterdata in SAP & EFTsure
  • Coaching and guiding retail team members on store purchasing and accounts payable processes.
  • Liaising with the store construction team to organise goods required for store renovations and openings
  • Liaising with the Visual Merchandise team for store sale signage requirements.
  • Purchasing of Head Office supplies
  • Adhoc finance tasks as needed


Your profile:

  • An understanding or knowledge of basic accounting
  • Experience in Accounts Payable is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in SAP is desirable
  • An enthusiastic approach with a willingness to learn
