Acupuncturist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and providing acupuncture therapy to promote healing and wellness.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and medical histories.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile techniques and appropriate protocols.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and complementary therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and practices.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as an Acupuncturist.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and its application in patient care.
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to patients.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient well-being.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $44.56-$83.42 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
