We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Aircraft Detailer to join our team.

Job Description:

As an Aircraft Detailer, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of a variety of aircraft. You will be responsible for providing the safest, highest quality detailing experience, maximizing our clients aircraft performance. You will be detailing both the interior and exterior of the aircraft. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong work ethic. Job will occur primarily at the DSM Des Moines airport with some work at outlying airports in the region. Some travel may be required to these other airports.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and detail the exterior of aircraft, including washing, waxing, and polishing.
• Detail and sanitize aircraft interiors, including seats, bathrooms, carpets, windows, and multi surfaces.
• Apply protective coatings to exterior surfaces as needed.
• Inspect aircraft for detailing needs and report findings to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working around aircraft.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and available for use.
• Work with a team to complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible work schedule, including the possibility of nights and weekends.
