Front Desk Agent – Holiday Inn Linden, NJ

Holiday Inn Linden is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring a memorable stay.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests upon arrival and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• Manage reservations, process payments, and operate the phone system.
• Perform night audit duties as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Organize, stock, and maintain the hotel’s market shop.
• Ensure all market shop items are properly restocked and that no expired products are available for sale.
• Conduct front desk inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Follow waste management procedures to ensure a clean and eco-friendly environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is required .
• Bilingual prefered and IHG experience is strongly Prefered
• Strong communication skills; fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of front desk operations and guest service best practices.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in using office equipment and computer systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned
• IHG experience preferred
