Apprentice Carpenter

We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at AVIA CONSTRUCTIONS on the gold coast. This full-time role will allow you to learn and develop your carpentry skills as part of a supportive and experienced team. You will be involved in a variety of residential and commercial construction projects, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the carpentry trade.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting qualified carpenters with the construction, installation and maintenance of wooden structures, fixtures and fittings
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specification
• Installing doors, windows, flooring, framing and other building components
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Participating in ongoing training and development to further your carpentry skills

• Good physical fitness and the ability to stand, lift and work for extended periods
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Drivers licence

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: $34,580.00 – $83,206.74 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gold Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
