Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms, disturbances, or suspicious behavior.
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records with accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve incidents or emergencies.
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action.

Requirements

• Valid armed security license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring.
• Certification in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; ability to respond quickly when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
