Asphalt Manufacturing Technician Level 1

Our scope of work includes complex highway construction projects, private and public site development, asphalt paving from parking lots to interstates, soil stabilization and reclamation of roadways, sewer and water system construction, installation of all types of storm drainage, and hot mix asphalt sales. C.R. Jackson, Inc. is looking for someone to join our asphalt plant team as a Level 1 Technician. This career involves working on a construction site, where you'll handle hot mix asphalt and other materials, shovel, rake, operate equipment, manage the site, and perform other related work. You'll also help prepare and stage materials and tools needed for plant maintenance projects. The Plant Foreman will give instructions so the technician may monitor the plant to ensure it runs smoothly throughout the day.

Physical Demands:
This job requires constant physical effort, including standing, crouching, pushing, pulling, and bending. You'll need to have the strength to lift and carry items weighing at least 25 lbs. Your constant alertness to multiple activities going on around you will keep you and those around you safe.
