Assistant Branch Manager - Construction

We’re seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Manager with a strong background in the construction industry to assist with leading our branch in San Diego . This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $80,000-100,000 (negotiable, depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee branch operations, staffing, and financial performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team to achieve sales and service goals
  • Manage budgets, P&L statements, and financial reporting
  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Monitor inventory, operations, and ensure safety compliance
  • Resolve operational and customer issues with a hands-on approach

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, logistics, and field operations
  • Proven ability to manage teams and drive results
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Business insight and experience with branch-level financials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
