About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to ensure safe and quality clinical practice by leading and operationally managing clinical pharmacy services throughout Community and Oral Health, ensuring the service operates effectively and meets patient and organisational needs. Provide leadership and subject matter expertise within the Pharmacy multi-disciplinary team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Manage the quality of clinical pharmacy practice within Community and Oral Health and monitor the key performance indicators relating to clinical pharmacy activities and WAU generation targets for community visiting services.
Assist with the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care engaging other disciplines where relevant.
Provide high-level clinical pharmacy advice and direction to pharmacy staff and other health practitioners within Community and Oral Health services.
Provide leadership and direction in workforce planning and development of strategies to maximise the capability of the clinical pharmacy team within Community and Oral Health.
