Description:
What you'll do:
Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose reports for various entities and industries
Conduct tax research and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation
Service a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing individual client needs
Perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts
Experienced in Xero, MYOB, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Financial modelling & forecasting experience
Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance, support, and training as required
Participate in professional development activities to stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
Skills and Experiences:
What you'll bring:
Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
CA or CPA qualified
Proven experience in supervising and leading a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Demonstrated professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting
Professional, client-focused, and invested in developing into a trusted business advisor
Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high-pressure situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner
