About Singapore Global NetworkSingapore Global Network (SGN) is a division under EDB that grows and engages a 220,000-strong international community of overseas Singaporeans and friends of Singapore. [What you will be working on]
You will be part of SGN’s Brand & Content team, supporting the development and execution of brand and content marketing initiatives that promote SGN as an international networking community among target audience segments, and building a positive experience with members. This includes building the SGN brand experience, growing its digital channel following, promoting its product offerings, generating new members for the network, and engaging audiences through a mix of online and offline initiatives.
You will also help shape global perceptions of Singapore as an ideal city for international talent to live, work and play in. This includes promoting the many aspects of Singapore’s culture, people and environment. Using compelling storytelling techniques, you will creatively convey Singapore value propositions in a way that gets target audiences excited about the prospects and opportunities that Singapore has to offer.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating, experimenting, and collaborating — from shaping creative campaign ideas to producing inspiring content and supporting delivery across digital channels. You will work closely with internal teams, marketing agencies and brand partners to shape how Singapore is represented to global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Campaign Management
- Drive the ideation, development and execution of brand initiatives and marketing campaigns aimed at growing SGN’s digital following, network membership and brand experience.
- Work with marketing agencies to develop and execute campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Serve as the custodian of the SGN brand, responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of existing brand toolkit and proposing recommendations that help foster a stronger brand identity and affinity among audiences.
- Identify brand partners for collaboration to enhance SGN’s value offerings to members.
Content Development & Marketing
- Shape the content strategy for SGN and drive content development across channels, markets and audience segments.
- Contribute content ideas and create engaging content across formats that include but are not limited to short-form videos, human-interest stories, explainer videos, editorial content, event coverage, and guides.
- This includes working with content agencies, media publishers and partners to develop content initiatives and partnerships.
- Collaborate with product and regional teams to drive content and campaigns aimed at promoting opportunities in Singapore among global talent and entrepreneurs.
- Identify relevant content creators and key opinion leaders to collaborate on content and campaigns.
Measurement & Optimisation
- Measure and report on brand, campaign and content-related performance using marketing analytics and social listening tools.
- Help translate data and insights into learnings and recommendations for improving future campaigns and content.
[What we are looking for]
We are looking for a digital native with a fun personality. Someone who is creative, energetic and with a good sense of humour, to bring out the best that Singapore and SGN has to offer.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 1–3 years of experience (or equivalent internships/projects) in digital marketing, content, communications, or social media. Agency and/or media production house experience is welcome but not mandatory.
- Are a strategic thinker with hands-on experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, developing engaging content, and managing social media channels.
- Enjoy creative storytelling and creating content, especially for social and digital platforms.
- Are comfortable experimenting with short-form content and open to being behind or in front of the camera when needed (but not required to be an on-screen personality).
- Have strong writing skills and an eye for attention to detail, from crafting captions to polishing longer-form content.
- Are familiar with social platforms and trends, and curious about how audiences engage with content.
- Possess basic experience with tools such as video editing apps (e.g. CapCut), analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics), or social listening tools — or are keen to learn.
- An independent and self-motivated individual who takes ownership of deliverables and is committed to excellence in execution, as well as adept at managing priorities, timelines and achieving targets.
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment and contributing ideas and are open to feedback, learning, and developing new skills over time.
- Are a Singapore Citizen.
