About the Role
- Review and maintain files for all assigned job proposals.
- Complete and maintain applicable project status reports.
- Assist with expediting drawing approval returns and RFI responses.
- Communicate with others by means of telephone, email, and text.
- Assist with timelines and project performance tracking.
- Jobsite visits to deliver material or review jobsite status and take photos.
- Assist with coordination of deliveries.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and methodologies.
- Assist Project Managers with project budgets.
- Prepare project change orders.
Requirements
- B.S. in Construction Management (preferred, not mandatory)
- Experience in construction and/or steel fabrication.
- Able to develop a strong working knowledge of construction drawings.
- Able to organize and maintain complex data files.
- Must learn to develop, maintain, and modify project budgets.
- Must learn how to determine scope change and track change order costs.
- Must maintain a professional relationship with clients and coworkers.
- Ability to learn, company Management Information Software.

Doing Steel Fabrication is a Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Fabricator with 4 locations Nationwide. Our main Headquarters is in Springfield, Missouri. We have proudly been servicing the Steel industry for over 35 years and are one of the largest family-owned steel fabricators in the nation.
