Assistant Sales Manager

Waterloo Kia is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to help drive sales performance, support our team, and actively engage with customers.

This role is ideal for a top-performing sales professional ready to step into leadership while continuing to desk deals, close sales, and help develop the sales team.

Your Role

As Assistant Sales Manager, you will partner with the Sales Manager to lead the sales team while continuing to sell and work directly with customers. Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the Sales Manager to drive sales performance and dealership goals
• Desk and close deals with customers, turning opportunities into sales
• Managing used vehicle inventory and merchandising
• Continuing to actively sell vehicles and assist customers on the floor
• Helping the sales team structure deals, improve follow-up, and convert leads into sales
• Contribute to monthly sales targets and dealership goals, helping the team achieve and exceed expectations
• Ensuring proper CRM use and lead management
• Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

What You Bring

• Automotive sales experience required
• Previous leadership or senior sales experience preferred
• Strong closing, negotiation, and deal-structuring skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to coach and support others
• Valid driver’s license and OMVIC certification

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
