Assistant Store Manager

The Role:
As our Part-Time Assistant Store Manager, you will be the key to our success during your shifts. You will handle everything from ensuring smooth day-to-day operations to motivating our small, dedicated team. This is a hands-on role perfect for a retail professional who is looking for a leadership position with a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do:

• Daily Operations: Open and close the store, manage cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop a team of retail associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Customer Experience: Deliver excellent customer service, resolve issues professionally, and ensure a memorable shopping experience for all our customers.
• Sales and Merchandising: Drive sales by effectively merchandising our products, implementing promotional displays, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with incoming shipments, including counting and receiving inventory and preparing all merchandise for sale.

Who You Are:

• A motivated and reliable leader with at least 1–2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A problem-solver who can think quickly and handle stressful situations with ease.
• Organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Flexible and available to work some weekends as needed.
• Experience with a POS system and inventory management is preferred.
