As the Division's Facilities Coordinator, in coordination with Facilities Section, monitors facility-related service contracts for repair, maintenance, alterations, mechanical and electrical projects; inspects and accepts contract work; prepares CHP 43, Purchase Requisition requests; analyzes facility related vendor invoices including verification of cost, job completeness, and approval of payment in accordance with State and Department policy. Meets with Facility Section, Division managers, contractors, and control agency personnel from the Department of General Services of Office of the State Architect to inspect and ensure conformance with working plans and specifications. Assists in the review of plans and specifications provided by architects or engineers for capital outlay construction projects and relays information to Facilities Section. Leads, oversees scheduled work, and provides direction of facility repairs with maintenance and custodian staff. Acts as the designated Division Procurement Card holder. Completes quarterly analysis/review for Administrative Assistant review with regards to Division's progress in the areas of current projects, general maintenance, contract bidding, and alterations to include recommendations for improvement in the said areas moving forward.
