Associate Governmental Program Analyst

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I of the Division Support Unit in the Analysis, Measurement, and Accountability Reporting Division, and working in a professional team situation with program units and administrators throughout the Division, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst serves in a lead capacity.
  • Oversee the Web efforts of eight units within the Division. Work independently and collaboratively to review and develop verbiage for Division Web pages that is accurate and comprehensive; aligns with related programs and topics; complies with current educational policy; and adheres to Division, Branch, and Department Web standards.
  • Edit Web documents using the Department’s special software Adobe Acrobat Professional and Contribute; create and convert text documents and data files to Web-compatible formats; develop complex tables that use data elements from various CDE sources; upload pages using the Department’s Web.NET System.
  • Troubleshoot Information Technology (IT) problems with computer systems, fax machines, and printers; present software training to Division staff in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Act as Division liaison to TSD staff for the relocation of staff, equipment, and/or stored materials.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible applicants residing in California. A hybrid telework schedule includes working remotely and physically reporting to the office.

Department Information
