Associate Lawyer – Job DescriptionPosition Overview

An Associate Lawyer assists senior lawyers and partners in handling legal cases. They conduct legal research, draft documents, advise clients, and represent clients in court or legal proceedings under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analyze laws, cases, and regulations
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, motions, and affidavits
• Assist in court appearances, hearings, and trials
• Communicate with clients regarding case updates and legal advice
• Prepare case files, evidence, and legal strategies
• Review contracts and other legal documents for accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with paralegals, clerks, and other legal staff

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
• Licensed to practice law (or in the process of bar admission, if applicable)
• New Bar Passers are welcome to apply
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• High Ethical Standards and maintain strict confidentiality
