Job Title: Asst. Cafe Manager / Cafe Supervisor
Location: Warabimochi Kamakura, SM Aura
Reports To: Cafe Manager
Job Summary: Warabimochi Kamakura is a café renowned for its authentic and delectable warabimochi, a traditional Japanese dessert. We pride ourselves on delivering a unique experience that highlights the beauty of Japanese culture and flavors. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cafe Team Leaders to help the Café Manager oversee daily operations at our café. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training and overseeing a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth workflow. The Cafe Team Leader will report directly to the Cafe Manager and play a key role in maintaining the quality of our products and services and creating a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate café staff, providing direction and support to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure all customers receive outstanding service by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Training and Development: Train new employees in café operations, company policies, and customer service best practices. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Operation Management: Assist in managing daily operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and staff scheduling.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality and presentation, ensuring that all food and beverages meet company standards.
- Sales and Promotions: Implement and promote sales initiatives to drive revenue and engage customers, including seasonal promotions and loyalty programs.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards; maintain cleanliness and organization within the café.
- Financial Responsibilities: Assist in cash handling, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining accurate sales records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a café or hospitality environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Holder of a valid Philippine passport, in order to participate in training in Japan
- Commitment to sign a two year minimum employment in the company, given the overseas training expenses that will be shouldered by the company.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for coffee and food, with a strong understanding of product offerings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
- Certified food handler or barista training is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php27,000.00 per month
