Overview

The Audit Manager is responsible for leading external audit engagements, managing client relationships, and overseeing the execution of audit plans. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, compliance with professional standards, and the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple external audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Oversee engagement execution, ensuring adherence to auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm methodologies.
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for audit-related matters.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to audit seniors, associates, and staff.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting and audit issues.
• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Support business development and contribute to client retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
• Minimum of 5 years of external audit experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements and mentoring junior team members.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and risk assessment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
