Job Summary:

As an Automotive Detailer at The Honda Way, you will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will work closely with our sales team to prepare vehicles for display, delivery, and customer inspection. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exterior Cleaning: Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors. Clean and shine tires, rims, and windows to achieve a showroom-ready finish.

• Interior Cleaning: Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize interior carpets, seats, and upholstery. Clean and condition leather and vinyl surfaces.

• Detailing: Perform thorough detailing of vehicles, including engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, and removal of minor scratches or blemishes.

• Inspection: Inspect vehicles before and after cleaning to ensure they meet dealership standards. Report any damage or concerns to the service department.

• Preparation: Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring that they are spotless and in pristine condition.

• Inventory Management: Maintain and organize detailing supplies and equipment. Notify management of any inventory needs or equipment malfunctions.

• Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to address any concerns regarding vehicle cleanliness or detailing services.

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to high-quality standards. Basic knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a plus.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
